Routes for Spin Saturday 12th January / I will Map these rides out later

Group 1 New2Tri - leader / Gary Keogh
Figure of 8 loop - refer to Map of loop previous page
The new to Tri and recovery group now uses the same route every week which is designed to suit pretty much anybody new or recovering from an event or injury. The route is a figure-8
loop of 27km per lap which is repeated twice for a total distance of 54km. The cross-over of the figure-8 is at the start/finish point in Ashford giving participants plenty of “bail-out”
options.

Group 2 leader / John Darcy

Ashford - Glenealy - Rathdrum railway bridge turn left toward Barndarrig.
Take 2nd right toward line Arch Bridge [ careful descending ] left toward Meetings pub and proceed toward Avoca
Take 1st right after Avoca turnoff [ on left ] and proceed past COI church 300 m then fork left
steady climb for circa 2km to a T junction and turn left - proceed to arrive at the rear of the Woodenbridge hotel - right to Aughrim.
3km down this road and take the next Right up a short steep hill [ 100m ] turn right at T junction and proceed toward the Aughrim - Clash road
Long straight mile - Clash - Rathdrum - Glenealy - Ashford
If group 2 are feeling energetic, they can turn left at Rathdrum toward stump of the Castle / Spaghetti junction and approach Glenealy from there

Group 3 leader - Colm Flood

At Spaghetti junction turn right and descend to Glenealy - Burke oil - Ashford

On Map my ride, if you change the Route Privacy setting from "Friends" to "Accessible" or "Public" everybody will be able to see them,
