Lots of people away this week. I'll keep it fairly straight forward and not too hilly as some groups may merge.
The weather's looking bad again with wind and rain forecast so could be another turbo day. Roll on the summer!

Group 1 New 2 Tri - leader Garry Keogh

Group 2 long, 3 plus 4 shorter route. Leaders - John - (no leader for 3 yet) - Fiona. 75km.
Ashford - Wicklow - Coast road to Arklow
Through the town then right to Woodenbridge (anyone wanting a shorter spin turn right here for Avoca - Rathdrum and home About 65km)
Left to Aughrim, right over the bridge to Balinaclash
Balinaclash - Rathdrum - Glenealy and home.

Group 5 - 4 longer route. Leaders - Linus and Fiona 88km.
Ashford - Wicklow - Coast road to Arklow
Through the town then right to Woodenbridge
Left to Aughrim, right over the bridge then left at the coffee shop to Macreddin
At the crossroads at the top of the hill turn right descending to Ballinaclash.
Ballinaclash - Rathdrum - Laragh - Annamoe
Right in Annamoe then straight down Devils Glenn to Ashford.

Saturday 23rd March
Weather looking promising - dry with temps averaging 7-8 C and light NE winds
Given that last weeks spin was cancelled due to bad weather, we never got to ride the routes Tony posted - so here they are again
Lots of people still away this week in the sun - lets hope they bring it back with them

Saturday spin 30th March.
Northerly winds forecast with possible rain around lunch so will feel cooler than lately.

Group 1 New 2 Tri - leader Garry Keogh

Group 5 plus 4 longer route. Leaders - Marie with no leader yet for 5. 83km.
Ashford - Glenealy - Rathdrum - Ballinaclash - Aughrim
Through the town keeping right after the GAA pitch headihg for Aughavannagh.
Follow the road for about 10km to a T junction.
Turn right dropping down to the junction at the base on Slievemane
Turn right onto the back of Brown Mountain keeping left at the fork about 1km up.
Straight through the cerossroads on the descent to Ballinaclash then back up to Rathdrum.
Left at the bottom of Rathdrum to Spaghetti junction.
Straight to Moneystown - Tomriland then right down Devils glenn to finish.

Group 3 plus 2 long Leaders Colm - John. 73km
Ashford - Glenealy - Rathdrum - Ballinaclash - Aughrim, (anyone wanting a shorter easier route go left over the bridge back to Woodenbridge and home)
Through the town keeping right after the GAA pitch headihg for Aughavannagh.

For those riding the 3 Peak Challenge, I've picked a flatter spin, if there is such thing Wicklow


Group 1 New 2 Tri - leader Garry Keogh

Groups 2 and 3 distance - approx 73km
Refer to route below.
Follow this until the Junction 4km after the service station at Woodenbridge
At the junction, turn left and head back toward Arklow - rejoining the longer route in Arklow and home via the N11

Groups 4 and 5 distance 86km
Ashford, Bel Air, right Ballycullen crossroads, left toward Spaghetti junction / Stump of the Castle
Rathdrum, Woodenbridge, right at service station and proceed up a 4km drag
At next junction - Route splits - Groups 2 and 3 head left toward Arklow
Groups 4 and 5 take a left and immediate right and progress toward Ballyfad, Coolgreaney, Inch at the N11, returning to Arklow
Follow N11 back to Beehive / Wicklow

Saturday spin 13th April.
Weather's looking ok. A bit breezy but dry and not too cold so we'll stick in a couple of hills and backroads.
Lots of bail out options for anyone who doesn't want to do the whole spin.

Group 1 New 2 Tri - leader Garry Keogh

Group 5 and 4 long. Leaders John - Marie 80km
Ashford - north to Gregory's, left up Callow hill, straight at next crosroads then right at next junction to Annamoe.
Left to Laragh and over the easy side of Elliott.
Left in Glenmalure towards Greenann.
At the next fork keep left (about 3km before Greenan) and climb up to the back of baby shay.
At the next junction turn right and descend baby shay turning right at the bottom to Greenan.
Left to Balllinaclash, left over the bridge then immediately right (careful here!) to the meetings.
Left at the meetings then right at the fork up Lions Arch Bridge.
Straight to next T junction then right to Barndarrig.
Left onto the N11 then left at The Tap to Deputy's - Glenealy and home.
