Aidan Hammond has sent us training plans for Groups 1->4, for the next bike block which starts on Monday Feb 13th. As usual, they are located within the Coach's Corner section of the website, so you'll only see them if you have logged onto the forum. They're not visible to users browsing the site anonymously. Aidan's advice for the next few weeks is as follows: "The intensity will now start to ramp up as we get closer to end of April, so it's important now for riders to listen to their bodies and check their resting HRs if they are tired and skip a day if it's 10 beats or more up or they are generally feeling tired!
Turbo sessions should ideally now be looking at a little v02 max and threshold work ie Rolling sprints 20 secs plus and some 3 min plus efforts at race pace type effort or 85-90%.
On Saturday during the spins still stay away from the big hills but throw in some tempo efforts during the spins, so not flat out but just get everyone riding up and over a little quicker for a few minutes a few times during the spin".

As race season is fast approaching, Saturday spins will now be shorter in distance, but will include more hillwork. There will also be a stronger focus on midweek interval training sessions as well.
