Folks, its been a couple of years since we got together for a club MTB trip (we used to go every October)

Looking to "get the band back together" this October for a weekend trip to Ballyhoura, staying in the Deebert Hotel (they still do the amazing deal €99 for 2 nights BnB, one evening meal, and a packed lunch).

I'll also be arranging some MTB spins from September onwards, targetted at beginners (these will start very easy, and progress over the spins so that everyone is able for 2-3hrs of MTB fun in Ballyhoura).

At this stage just looking to gauge interest in "getting the band back together" from Sept.

once we have critical mass, we can arrange a weekend (n.b. the Deebert is already booked out the BH weekend)

Jamie

(NB - these will be not be super technical nor fast spins, I'm probably the most unfit I've been due to new job, loads of US travel etc, so don't be afraid that these will be hammer fests, purely about fun, working on bike handling skills and perhaps a few beers post spin)

Count me in, I would be on for a trip to Ballyhoura, one slight problem is that I don't actually own a Mountain bike anymore, but I am sure I could acquire one  for the weekend.

I'll give that a go if the missus is not off at a dog competition the same weekend.

Whatever about the band, I'm (slowly) putting the hardtail back together, so would hope to make some of the spins. Don't think I'd make the trip though.
