Hi folks.

As a new year approaches new members are joining the Club. As always we want to make sure we provide a welcoming, encouraging and safe environment for newbies to develop their cycling skills under the guidance of experienced riders.

The Club needs members to volunteer to lead the New to Tri group. If there is a particular Saturday in January that would suit can you please insert your name against the corresponding date below. If we don’t get the required leaders I will need to randomly allocate names on a rotational basis. I plan to update this rota on a seasonal basis.

If you haven’t led this group before we now have an established route www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/2041753096/
The route is the same every week. which accommodates mixed abilities and also allows regulars to bench mark their progress each time they come out. The figure of eight route allows you to leave anyone who is really struggling to keep up, back at Ashford at the end of the first loop and continue with the rest of the group. I will also give you detailed information in advance of your date to lead.
