Im sure most of you are aware of a constant problem with broken glass on Hawkstown Road / Cycle Path. Hawkstown Road being the road from the roundabout on the Marlton Road to the roundabout at Broomhall.

Broken glass is a permanent feature on the cycle path on the left hand side of the road as you head north towards Broomhall. It’s now located in two spots at the bottom of the hill just before the roundabout.

I run that route on a regular basis but if you were cycling today there was no way to avoid it and you’d be doing well if your tyres survived.

Don’t know what the solution is but it appears someone has it in for cyclists!
