Hi All

Myself and Brendan Borland are heading out for an easy run tomorrow meeting at The Men's in Greystones that's the small Dart car park overlooking the North end of the South beach in Greystones. Plan is to run the Cliff walk to Bray and back followed by a quick dip and coffee and cake to finish off.

As we are running the cliff walk we are meeting a little earlier than normal at 9am to avoid the early walkers.

All welcome and remember to bring your togs (no wetsuits) for a dip after ;-)

So the taper for Dublin is about to begin so again it is a nice easy run along the cliff walk tomorrow morning if anyone fancies a potter, distance somewhere between 10-14km depending on weather. Meeting at 9am at the small Dart car park at the top end of the south beach in Greystones (swim car park). As always there will be coffee after.

Hi All

It’s that time of year again, the wonderful off-season which means it time to leave the roads behind and hit the hills. So we will start off nice and easy for the first couple of weeks and base our runs out of Djouce. The plan is to meet as usual at 10am in the main Djouce Forest car park which is 5min from Kilmacanogue.

So if you have not been to Djouce forest before just exit of the N11 at Kilmac and take the Roundwood/Glendalough road. After about a mile take the first right hand turn signposted for Enniskerry. Again drive about 1km and take the first left turn which is a very steep and tight turn. (you know you will have gone too far if the road turns hard right at the Powerscourt waterfall junction) Once you have turned onto the old long hill road then the forest is about 1km up the road on the right hand side, the first coniferous forest you see and the entrance is there with a large carpark inside.

This run is an easy run and always followed by coffee and cake so all are welcome new and old members, though I must point out this is an unofficial training session.

As the weeks progress we will vary the run locations.

So that's it, just remember to bring old runners as it’s a little muddy up there and a change of clothes if you plan on coffee after.

Any queries please post here.
