Hi Members,

The committee have decided that our club race for 2019 will be Hook or by Crook on June 15th, which is a sprint distance race in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.
The first round of entries will open this Saturday morning (Dec 1st ) at 9am via the Triathlon Ireland website. As it's a 2019 National Series race, it could potentially sell out within a few weeks, so we'd advise you to sign up as soon as you can.

Dunmore East is very manageable as a day-trip and as it’s a sprint race, we’re expecting a huge number of you to sign up to represent the best tri club in the world :) There’ll be prizes for the fastest Wicklow male & female, along with a few other fun prizes too, which will be presented at our Annual Awards’ Night in November.

In addition to this club race, we'll be nominating a few other races (recommended by our club captains) that we'll be encouraging all Wicklow Tri club members to compete in. It’s always great to get a big crew from the club at the same race, so we’ll have more details on these races soon.

Please note that no one can enter any 2019 TI race (NS or not) without 2019 TI insurance. You have option of just purchasing TI licence @€75 and then buying race entry OR purchasing TI licence @€65 and renewing your club membership at same time.

Club membership fees are also due on 1st January 2019 so while you’re on the TI site entering the race it might be a good idea to sort that too! Our membership officer for 2019 is Fiona McBride so feel free to speak to either Fiona or myself if you have any questions.

Cheers,

Barbara
Secretary
