Watch out for the stampede guys but entry is now open for the Junior Beast of the East triathlon to be held in Greystones, Co Wicklow on September 25th
If you entered last year you will remember the fantastic race we had in Wicklow town but this year we have moved to the lovely seaside town of Greystones where we have an even better race planned. The course is really compact making it easier for your friends and families to watch and cheer you on. The sea swim is in a sheltered cove, a natural amphitheatre which is ideal for watching and cheering. The bike course is a criterium styled short lap course meaning that the athletes do not disappear for ages on the bike race. Instead they pass by their supporters every couple of minutes making for really exciting racing. The run course shares part of it’s route with the bike course so again means tons of support for you as a triathlete on the course.
We can’t wait to see you in Greystones so get your entries in now. We have a full page of instructions telling you how to enter HERE, a separate page with details on the courses HERE and an other information page with frequently asked questions HERE which we suggest you read anyway, even if you are an experienced triathlete.
Triathlon Ireland are hosting the entry system on their website via the race calendar and the process of entering is very simple. You must have a race license or if you are a first-timer or just occasional racer, a one day license. Read our entry page carefully for instructions.
Hurry up and get your entries in before the race sells out!
